座談交流

10月31日上午,新西蘭奧克蘭大學(xué)機(jī)械工程系Jaspreet Singh Dhupia博士應(yīng)邀來(lái)校進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流,作題為“Modelling and control strategies for ensuring performance and reliability of mechatronic systems”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告,機(jī)電工程學(xué)院張來(lái)喜博士主持學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告會(huì)。

10月31日下午,Jaspreet博士與機(jī)電工程學(xué)院部分院領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和教師進(jìn)行了座談,他介紹了奧克蘭大學(xué)的學(xué)科特色和機(jī)械工程系的科研情況。學(xué)院副院長(zhǎng)趙家黎向Jaspreet博士介紹了機(jī)電工程學(xué)院科研項(xiàng)目方面的基本情況。雙方就人才培養(yǎng)、國(guó)際合作、聯(lián)合申報(bào)長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者特聘教授及國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目等事宜達(dá)成了初步意向。

會(huì)后,Jaspreet博士參觀(guān)了學(xué)院實(shí)驗(yàn)室和工程訓(xùn)練中心。

11月1日,Jaspreet博士與研究生進(jìn)行了學(xué)術(shù)交流,參觀(guān)了學(xué)校圖書(shū)館和蘭工坪校區(qū)。

學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告的主要內(nèi)容為:The seminar presented an overview his research interests covering modelling, estimation, identification and control applications in context of robotic and mechatronic systems. The seminar was delivered in two parts. The first part of the presentation covered the recent contributions in modelling and control of a linkage chewing robot, the redundantly actuated parallel chewing robot, and a soft surface manipulator. The second part of the presentation introduced new monitoring and control algorithms developed by them to handle the uncertainty and varying operating conditions encountered commonly in most industrial automation machines.
